An Honest & Straight Up Usana MLM Review

Over the past couple of days I have been doing some research on one of the veterans in the network marketing industry: The Usana MLM.

They have been in the game for a while now, but I guess you could this is the first that I have really caught the Usana buzz.

I’ve got to tell you, I am not a member of the Usana MLM myself, nor do I personally know anybody that is. Quite frankly this is just an honest review from an outsider looking in. I cannot provide any personal experience from the company itself, but I do know a thing or two about network marketing if I must say so myself (some may disagree!)

Let’s go ahead and get this thing a rockin’ and a rollin’.

What does the Usana MLM opportunity consist of?

Well basically Usana is another mlm company oriented around the health industry. That has really been a huge trend over the past couple of years, and I’ve got to say it has good reason to be. Now more than ever people are trying to get right with their health. Something like 8 million Americans devote themselves to a healthier lifestyle each and every single year.

You will hear a lot of people talk about the Usana MLM saying that the health industry is saturated. Yeah, those people could not be more wrong. If 8 million people want to get healthier every single year, I think there are more than enough people to sell to. Wouldn’t you say?

That doesn’t even include the business opportunity side of the Usana MLM. If I became a part of this company, that is the side that I would want to be a part of. I mean yeah, there is good money being a Usana salesman ‘n all, but I’m not looking for good money. I am looking for GREAT money. Let’s face it the people bringing home those ‘big zeroed’ paychecks aren’t out there selling some vitamin juice. They are bringing in other people to sell that vitamin juice for them. They are using “leverage”.

You cannot and will not ever be a millionaire unless you and you business have leverage. Sure if you’re looking for a couple of hundred extra bucks a month, you would have a blast out there cold calling and belly to bellying it up.

Before we continue, I would like to answer the one quick question that I’m sure you have on your mind: Is this just some Usana Scam?

Absolutely not! I really hate even hearing people say things like that. Yes you will hear the people say “Usana fraud don’t join!”.

There is only two good explanations for this:

1. They failed in the Usana MLM. They just couldn’t hack it and so now they are making sure no one else will either. Remember misery loves company.

2. They are trying to promote their own company. It happens all of the time. People bash one company to promote their own. You should never buy into that kind of hype.

Anyways, back to making money with Usana because let me tell you the amount of money you make is really your choice. The money is sure as heck out there. I once heard that there is enough money in the world that everyone inside it could be a millionaire. Who knows how accurate that is, but my point is that there is enough money out there for everyone that wants it. You just have to be willing to do what is needed to make it.

Now how exactly can a person make money with Usana?

You know, I get emails from people all the time saying “Hey Landon I just joined this new company called so-and-so. I have never been in network marketing before, so what should I do first? What do I need to do to make money in an mlm?”

I give the same answer every time. I tell that person that there are four things that you HAVE to have in order to make in network marketing.

If you have things four things you’re set. Without these four things you might not make any money at all.

What I am going to do is share those four things with you right now:

1. A lead capture page.

Let’s face it you have to move your business online. There is not enough time in the day for you to be out and about dealing with prospects that might not be interested, giving presentations in stranger’s homes, training new distributors that might not be that serious, and marketing your opportunity.

Like I said earlier you need leverage. That is where the internet comes in. It allows you to literally be thousands of places all at once. You can give your presentation to hundreds of people each and every single day WITHOUT even being in the same room.

When you join the Usana MLM or any other network marketing company for that matter, you will get a corporate lead capture page. That just isn’t good enough. You cannot expect to use a company lead capture page and get rich. It just doesn’t work that way.

You need your own lead capture. A page branding you not your company, a page with your pictures, your videos, and most importantly YOUR story. Remember people join people NOT opportunities.

2. You need your own autoresponder

It’s not enough to use an autoresponder given to you by your company. You HAVE to have your own autoresponder building YOUR list. It does you absolutely no good to build your opportunity’s list. If something were to ever happen to your company, you would lose everything that you worked for.

When you are a part of a network marketing business opportunity you are NOT a business owner. All you are is a sales rep for that company. Your business IS your list. It’s the only thing that you have that is all your own.

3. An automated training system.

Let’s face it time is your most valuable resource. Time is the only thing that no matter who you are, you can never get it back. You simply just do not have enough time to train everyone personally like I am sure you would like. It’s just not an option at this point in the game. You need to focus your efforts on marketing and not training.

Without a training system in place you cannot go to the next level in your business.

4. A duplicatable marketing system

This is the number one thing that you HAVE to have. If you can’t market your opportunity you can’t make any money. It’s really that simple. It’s not the person with the best product; it’s the person that markets the product the best.

Thanks to the internet there is huge competition, so you don’t only need to know how to market, you need to know how to market better than anybody else.

There you have. Those are the four things you need in your Usana MLM business; without them you might not be in business for very long.
